Consulting/Enrolled Actuary
We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Actuary who is eager to come grow with our
expanding practice.
The ideal candidate should:
-Be knowledgeable with ERISA and defined benefit IRC regulations.
-Be able to multi-tasks with little supervision.
-Have thorough knowledge in the preparation of Actuarial Valuations, FASB and GASB accounting reports, special studies, and miscellaneous projects.
-Be an excellent communicator and have the ability to deliver client reports and lead client presentations.
-Possess the ability to work with clients' plan design, funding analysis, and other related plan issues.
-Be able to assist in marketing and client development.
Requirements include:
-Designations of Enrolled Actuary, Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) or Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA)
-At least 3-5 years of experience working for a Benefits Consulting firm
ERISA Attorney/Consultant
As a senior attorney you will serve as a technical and support person who directly supports our management and consulting staff.
In addition, you will apply your knowledge in federal tax law, ERISA, labor, securities and related Human Resources law to
build and foster relationships with the firm’s clients by:
-Responding to requests for assistance with our clients and our consulting team on projects involving various types of retirement plans.
-Monitoring and analyzing legal and regulatory developments affecting the retirement plans of our clients, and communicating new rules and regulations to our clients.
-Designing and drafting Plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and administrative forms for our clients.
-Representing our firm through leadership roles in trade associations, bar groups and through interaction with government regulators.
Requirements include:
-Law degree with 5-7 years of ERISA experience, either in practice or with a consulting firm.
-Substantial knowledge of ERISA and the design and administration of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans.
-Strong service orientation and the sense of urgency to meet client needs.
-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make client presentations and some seminars presentations.
-Member of the NC State Bar would be a plus.
401(k) Administrator
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years experience working on Defined Contribution Plans (401k, 403b, and ESOPs),
preferably using the Relius software administration system. Furthermore, a thorough knowledge of ERISA and IRS regulations
involving retirement plans is very important. This team member will work directly with clients, and serve as a contact
person on a number of administrative issues, consequently exceptional communication skills are a must.
The completion and/or enrollment in such professional courses as ASPA and/or CEBS is a plus.
Sales Person - Benefits Communications
We are seeking a qualified sales person to market our comprehensive personalized employee benefit statements. The preferred
candidate must be a “self starter” and have a proven experience in sales, marketing, and making sales presentations.
A working knowledge of employee benefits is helpful.
Sales Person - Flexible Spending Accounts
We are seeking a qualified sales person to market our “state of the art” Flexible Spending Account system, including a FLEX-Debit Card.
The preferred candidate should be a “self starter” and have a proven experience in sales, marketing, and employee enrollment meetings.
A working knowledge of employee benefits is helpful, in particular section 125 Plans and their compliance with the Internal Revenue Code.
Senior Analyst - Defined Benefit Plans
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years experience working on Defined Benefit Plans, preferably using the ProVal
software administrative system. Furthermore, a thorough knowledge of ERISA and IRS regulations involving retirement plans
is very important. This team member will work directly with clients, and serve as a contact person on a number of administrative
issues, consequently exceptional communication skills are a must.
